Keep bonus bounty wile zoning
With all the complaining about "grind" (aka: playing the game) how about a compromise: If you rack up bonusses up to level 4, you keep em when moving to the next area as long as you don't enter an outpost. This way, you still can't buy GWEN armor on Ebay but grinding speed is greatly increased and it feels more rewarding to kill things.
If you can take a siege devourer to another area, why not the bounties?

nice idea, though i can forsee the possibility of being able to collect all bounties everywhere.
It is possible to go from Asuran to Dwarven, to Norn to Ebon areas, would this mean i keep bounties for each as i zone?
Whiel i would love this, because i would spend a whole day probaly vanquishing entire maps on my journey, probably starting in ebon lands as that has least ability to get points, I don't think they would implement it.
Maybe they would simply make it that when you left a certain bounties area it would become void.

Only should if you have a certain rank though (1 or 2, you get R3 just from the primary quests) and once you leave, say, Vanguard area into the Norn areas you should lose the Vanguard bounty etc

I actually suggested this idea myself (huge thread somewhere).... but then I kind of realised; its not actually taken me that long using the existing system to get rank 8 on two races, rank 7 on another and rank 5 on the last one.
The only thing this idea would do is speed the process up slightly! Very slightly!!
It would still take hours and days or bounty hunting to get to rank 10, and it should do. We only need rank 5 and that is easy to get.

I agree that the work involved (work, not "grind") to unlock the armor is not as bad as some people are crying about. But this is one "reduce the grind" idea i can

As long as something were put in place to prevent you from obtaining multiple bounties at once.

I like this idea. I've always wondered it myself, since as stated above, "environmental" type effects (like DP) carry over. Also, the game is aware of where terrains exist (as seen from the bonuses for the titles in "insert race here's" land).
It would make the process faster as long as you're willing to do the work for it. =)

There wouldn't be any problem with having multiple bounties from different races active, since there is an outpost separating each of their zones.
Not to mention if Hard Mode buffs enemies up to lvl 28 or above and gives them the normal bonuses being able to clear multiple zones will probably be a pretty hard thing. (Wait, disregard that since we have consumables now)

Never gonna happen. If you keep hunts across zones, then it becomes significantly more efficient to play for hours and hours. As it is, the most efficient play session is about an hour long. They're not gonna make it so that people who can spend 4 hours playing can accrue more than four times the rep of someone who only has an hour.

The bonus bounties max at four. It wont become more efficient to play for hours and hours, only more efficient to not zone into a map, clear it, outpost, repeat. It takes maybe 10-20 minutes to get the max bonus, depending on luck, being able to carry that over into another zone instead of having to recollect it each time will save everyone time. Have you actually played GW:EN?
I was wondering why they didn't do this the first time I zoned and saw I lost my bonuses.

If Death Penalty carries over from one area to the next then so should bounty.... without a shadow of a doubt.
Won't happen though.
I just continue to sign things that'd be nice.... but.... well... A-Net won't change anything. They just won't. I don't remember the last time A-Net actually made a positive requested change to the game. They nerf on demand... then add weird stuff that nobody cares about.
While we're at it.... add NPCs to zone us over from the GW:EN regions to ordinary Tyria as well.... just like the one to go between the Dune Sea and Crystal Overlook.

It may take 15 minutes to get to R4, or the entire zone, depending on luck. So yes, it would be much more efficient if you could clear Sacnoth (or most of it), zone/rezone and do it again. In fact, once you get to R4 and can zone/rezone there's no incentive to clear the whole area. Just hit the first 150 or so in an arc between the Wardowns portal and the Uplands portal and repeat. There's no question that you could gain rep much faster that way. So, in order to gain rep at the best rate, you'd be foolish to do it in anything less than, say, 3 hour blocks of time. They're not going to change the system to encourage that.

There would have to be some tests to determin how much more efficient keeping the bouty would be, but semantic may have a point. It would not be a good thing if it made rep farming TOO easy.
Im keeping my sign though, just because it should be at least looked into and researched.

But I still want them to make the race titles:
Account wide, so you can do the quests on other characters so that the "grind" (aka: going out and repetatively killing things for a title you don't otherwise care about, and not doing something you want to do for fun) is lessened becuase you only have to do it once, and you don't have to do it at all if you play 3-4 characters at the most through that section of the game.
Or
Non existent so all you have to do is complete the quests for the sake of the quests, not for the points they give.
